FAWKES FESTIVAL DALKEITH
GC Live brought Guy Fawkes back with a bang in 2023 following the Covid 19 pandemic and Dalkeith Country Park was the setting for our first event in this sensational new fireworks festival.
We developed it as a unique new way to experience both Halloween and Bonfire Night – a thrilling spectacle to set the skies ablaze and provide a wickedly wonderful outing for all the family.
Designed and delivered by GC Live, and produced by technical partners 21CC Group, the Fawkes Festival debut was a spine-tingling experience in the grounds of the country park with the spooktacular vista of Dalkeith Palace in the background.
We organised an exciting programme of events with pre-show entertainment, fairground rides, fabulous food and drink and a magnificent, large-scale firework display choreographed to music. The Halloween-inspired show was set to classic Halloween music, lights and lasers.
The Dalkeith event was part of our nationwide festival with similar events being held at: Dean Castle Country Park, Kilmarnock; Hopetoun House, South Queensferry and Gosford House, East Lothian.
Fawkes Festival also included eco and pet-friendly alternative firework events at two London parks featuring a ‘Night at the Movies’-themed Light and Laser Spectacular with a large-scale immersive light and laser display to music with sky trackers, flames and special effects.
